Welcome to Harrison project

Harrison project is co-funded by European GNSS Supervisory Authority (GSA)  in response to GJU 3rd Call - Galileo Time and Synchronization Applications under the VIth Framework Programme of European Commission.

The project started in December 2006 and will last 24 months.

The project deals with Time and Synchronization Applications made available with the use of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and in particular analysing the benefits of the use of Galileo.

The study analysis will mainly consider the services offered by Galileo Satellite System after the FOC (Full Orbit Configuration) that means the advantages offered by a full deployment of Galileo will be considered. However, during the project activity and the experimental demonstrations and trial the Galileo System will not be fully deployed, therefore the GPS and EGNOS Signal in Space and services will be actually used.
