The first Newsletter includes a synopsis of IMUTUS?’ objectives, a short presentation of the participating partners and a description of the project?’s current status.

Newsletter #2 - December 2004
This issue starts with a short presentation of the IMUTUS environment focusing on the most important student task: practicing on a melody. IMUTUS is composed of a number of modules and components that collaborate to achieve the required functionality. In this issue you will find a short overview of the most important modules that provides some insight into the IMUTUS internals. Detailed presentations of selected modules will be available in the Newsletter issues, starting in this issue with the Score Viewer.

Newsletter #3 - January 2005
The article included in this issue of the Newsletter describes in some detail one of the most important, interesting and innovative modules of the IMUTUS system: the module responsible for the automatic evaluation of the student performances.

Newsletter #4 - April 2005
In this issue you can find a summary of the validation report, presenting results obtained from field-tests and validation activities, as well as comments from students and teachers who used IMUTUS during the validation period. This issue also includes a short presentation of the educational content in IMUTUS, a presentation of the functionalities of its Distance Learning Platform and information about the project's final review meeting in Stockholm, Sweden. Finally, a presentation of several planned activities is provided in the last article of this issue.
